Gardner fights back in Jerez; Kasma Daniel continues progressing
Starting from the twelfth position of the grid, Remy Gardner has managed to cross the finish line of the second Grand Prix of the season in seventh position. The Australian has achieved important points and he is fifth on the Moto2 World Championship general standings.
Kasma Daniel, who is a rookie in the Moto2 World Championship, arrived to Jerez after not being able to give his 100% in Qatar due to an injury. The Malaysian rider has started the race from the tenth row of the grid. His goal was to finish the race and continue with the process of learning and gaining experience riding the Kalex which he has achieved.

The ONEXOX TKKR SAG TEAM riders will be back on track in 5 days when the Gran Premio Red Bull de Andalucia will take place at Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto.

It was a decent race today, we wanted to finish in the top seventh and we finished seventh so it could have been a lot worse. We nearly get the sixth position but I couldn’t keep the pace unfortunately. I tried really hard but I am still quite happy with seventh. We already have a plan for next week so I cannot wait! I would like to thank my team for their work this weekend.

I would like to thank my team for the support they have given me during all weekend. I am very happy to be able to finish the race as this was our main objective. I need to continue learning step by step to keep moving forward, improving and gaining experience. This has been my longest race and the conditions were really tough. I hope we can continue improving here next week.
