Gardner starts thirteenth in Australia; Nagashima classifies twelve
The ONEXOX TKKR SAG TEAM riders will start from the fifth row of the Moto2 grid in Phillip Island. Gardner will start from the thirteenth position while Nagashima will start seventeenth although he classified twelfth after a sanction he received in the last GP.
Remy Gardner has had to take part of the Q1 of the Grand Prix of Australia as he did not get through to the Q2. The rider from Sydney suffered an spectacular crash without serious consequences yesterday so he could not get a good lap time. Gardner has set the second best time in Q1 so he has classified to Q2 and he will start from the thirteenth position on the grid tomorrow.

Tetsuta Nagashima classified straight into the Q2 where he has achieved the twelfth best time. But the Japanese rider will start fifteenth after the penalization he got in the last Grand Prix.

The Moto2 race will take place tomorrow, 27th of October at 13:20h (local time) at 25 laps.
#87 Remy Gardner | P13 | 1'34.694| +1.129

Today has been a difficult day, I am feeling really good and fast with the bike. Every lap, I had a fast lap in Q2, I was being fast in all sectors but then there were slow riders in the last sector so I had to slow down and unfortunately I didn’t get to finish any good lap and we are starting thirteenth tomorrow. Anyways, we have good pace so I am looking forward to race at home tomorrow!
#45 Tetsuta Nagashima | P12* | 1'34.399 | +0.834            *Starting from P15 after penalty
Today’s result is not what we expected because of the bad weather conditions and the strong winds. I couldn’t not give my best as I didn’t want to take any risks but I have a good feeling with my bike. I hope tomorrow is less windy than today so we can make a good race. I am going to give my best to try to get the result we deserve.
