#FrenchGP - QP | Gardner starts from the front row at Le Mans

Gardner starts from the front row at Le Mans

The Australian rider of the ONEXOX TKKR SAG Team has achieved the third best lap time in Q2 and will start from the front row of the grid of the Circuit of Bugatti. Kasma Daniel has suffered a crash during the Q1 which hasn't allowed him to set a good lap time.

Remy Gardner closes the front row of the Grand Prix of France after setting a best lap time of 1'36.449 only 0.193 off the pole position set by Roberts. This will be the second time the Australian starts from the front row this season and his goal is to fight and achieve a podium as he did in Austria.
Kasma Daniel started the tenth Grand Prix of the Moto2 season with very good pace leading the Friday morning session for the first time this season. But the Malaysian has had worse luck today as he suffered a crash just a few minutes after the start of the Q1. Due to this crash, Kasma hasn't been able to set a good lap time and he will start from the twenty ninth spot of the grid.
The Moto2 race won't start at usual time, it will take place tomorrow, Sunday 11th of October, at 14:30h (local time).

#87 Remy Gardner | P3 | 1'36.449 | +0.193

Today has been a good day. We have improved a lot from yesterday. I am very happy with this front row and I would like to thank my team as they have given me a really good bike making me feel really comfortable riding it. I am looking forward to tomorrow and our goal is to be back on the podium.

#99 Kasma Daniel Kasmayudin | P29 | 1'38.863 | +2.132

My feelings riding the bike have improved a lot. Unfortunately, I have made a mistake and I have crashed during the second lap of Q1. It hasn't been a good qualifying session for me and my team but I hope we can be better tomorrow and achieve a good result.
