(CEV) Rosli fractures his femur in Albacete; Izzat finishes in the points

Ramdan Rosli suffered a high speed crash yesterday during the second Moto2 race at Circuito de Albacete. He fractured his femur and has undergone surgery at Hospital General de Albacete last night. Nazirul Izzat finished twenty fourth and twelfth in each race.

Ramdan Rosli, who started from the thirteenth position of the Moto2 grid, crossed the finish line of the first Moto2 race in tenth position. The Malaysian rider could not finish the second race due to a high speed crash he suffered which forced the red flag to be shown and the race to be restarted a few minutes later. Rosli was taken to Hospital de Albacete where he has undergone surgery. The doctor confirms the surgery has been a success and Ramdan should be able to walk in a few days.
Nazirul Izzat was racing for the first time at Circuito de Albacete and he managed to finish the first race in twenty fourth position. The ONEXOX TKKR SAG TEAM rider improved a lot for the second race. After his teammate’s crash, the second race was restarted and shortened to 10 laps. Izzat managed to finish in twelfth position achieving some points.

The next round of the FIM CEV Repsol will take place at Circuito Ricardo Tormo in Valencia on November 10th. The presence of Rosli will be confirmed closer to the event.
