#AragonGP - QP | Remy classifies tenth in Aragon; Kasma will start from the tenth row

Remy classifies tenth in Aragon; Kasma will start from the tenth row

Remy Gardner will start from the fourth row of the Moto2 starting grid at a very cold Gran Premio Michelin de Aragón. Kasma Daniel will start the eleventh Grand Prix of the season from the tenth row after qualifying thirtieth.

The low temperatures registered at the Spanish track have been a very important factor during all weekend. Remy Gardner has done a really good FP3 but he has struggled to improve his lap times during the Q2. The Australian rider of the ONEXOX TKKR SAG TEAM has achieved a best lap time of 1’52.401 which has given him the tenth position of the starting grid. Remy, who achieved a podium in Le Mans, hopes he can accomplish a good result this weekend.

After the crash suffered yesterday, Kasma Daniel has disputed the FP3 with a brand new bike and his goal was to gain his confidence back and to work on the setup of his Kalex. The Malaysian has finished the Q1 in sixteenth position with a best lap time of 1’55.388. Kasma will start from the thirtieth slot of the Moto2 grid.

The Moto2 race of the Gran Premio Michelin de Aragón will take place tomorrow, Sunday 18th of October at 13:20h (local time) and it will consist of 21 laps.

Today has been a tough day in the end. We had a good FP3 but in the qualifying everybody went really fast and we didn’t manage to improve our times. We have good rhythm and I think we can have a good race so hopefully tomorrow we can be happy with the result.

#99 Kasma Daniel Kasmayudin | P30 | 1'55.388 | +2.758

Firstly, I would like to thank my team for the amazing job they have done this weekend. They had to make a completely new bike as I had a big crash on Friday. So the bike was totally new today and I had to focus on gaining my confidence back. During the FP3 we focused on the setup of the bike and we continued with our progression. We are improving step by step and my goal for tomorrow is to continue with my progression.
