#AlcanizGP - QP | Front row for Gardner at the Gran Premio de Teruel

Front row for Gardner at the Gran Premio de Teruel

Remy Gardner has achieved the third best lap time at the qualifying session of the Gran Premio Liqui Moly de Teruel and he will start from the front row of the Moto2 grid while Kasma Daniel will do so from the ninth row.

Gardner, who went straight to the Q2, has managed to complete a great fast lap of 1’51.711 which has given him the third position of the qualifying session. The Australian of the ONEXOX TKKR SAG Team is only 0.415 off the pole position, achieved by Sam Lowes. Remy has felt really comfortable riding his Kalex and has a good pace so he hope he can get a good result tomorrow even though the Motorland track doesn’t really suits his riding style.

His teammate, Kasma Daniel, has completed the Q1 where he has classified in thirteenth position. The Malaysian rider continues with his goal of progressing and he will start from the ninth row of the Moto2 starting grid after achieving a best lap time of 1’53.027 which has given him the twenty seventh spot of the intermediate class grid.

The Moto2 race of the Gran Premio Liqui Moly de Teruel will take place tomorrow, Sunday 25th of October, at 14:30h (local time).

I am super happy with today, I didn’t expect to be in front row, I expected to be second or third row so I am extremely happy with the result. I pushed really hard to do a good lap. I think it is going to be a very interesting race tomorrow. I hope we can have a decent finish tomorrow as it will be nice to get some good points. Let’s see what the day brings!

#99 Kasma Daniel Kasmayudin | P27 | 1'53.027 | +1.094

Firstly, I would like to say I am happy with the results of this week, we are improving all the time, step by step. Slowly but surely, we have made a step forward from last week and my feeling with the bike is more positive! For the race, we will try to continue moving forward and get an even better result!
